If you thought Indeed was already big enough in the industry get ready for another big move.
After years of shunning Google for Jobs, the job search giant is now allowing their jobs to be indexed by the search engine.
This means yet MORE traffic for a job board thats already getting something like 63 million uniques per month in the U.S. alone. (250 million globally).
GFJ launched over 5 years ago and at that point Indeed considered them a competitor.
But no more.
GFJ traffic is perhaps the best quality traffic to get. They stay on your site longer and apply to more jobs than any other source.
Indeed spends tens of millions each month on consumer advertising and I’m sure those buys are eating into profits so they probably figured it was time to turn on the free traffic spigot. A bit ironic since they turned off free traffic for job board partners some years ago.
