I can’t recall where I saw this stat but somewhere I read that if you are one of the first 10 people to apply for a job you are much more likely to be interview/hired.
So why not help job seekers do this through a job board.
How?
Here’s how;
- First, this job board should only list jobs that are 24 hours old or less. After 24 hrs they should be expired. The ‘newness’ of the job is what make this job board unique.
- Second, you need to send these jobs to seekers as soon as they get published so the alert system must be real time.
- Thirdly, tell the seeker in the alert that they are more likely to get an interview if they apply right away. They need to be reminded constantly.
You could build this site with aggregated listings and make money off the affiliate revenue.
