As the virus outbreak takes hold in the U.S. a number of virus related job boards have popped up. Techcrunch has a story of one, the NRF created a retail job resource page and even Bayard Advertising got into the act with HiringAgain.com.
States are getting into the act as well and this one from Ohio caught my eye as a solid example. Located at Coronavirus.Ohio.gov/Jobs it showcases jobs from employers who are hiring in droves. And mainly links directly to the employer ATS. You can also post jobs. I wish they had created a better url to make it easy to promote.
The National Labor Exchange launched a site too but chose a rather strange URL to host it on: NeedAJobNow.USNLx.com – I dont understand why they couldn’t find a simpler URL.
Being able to promote a job board clearly means using a easy to spell dot com address, never forget that.
There’s this new term now called “essential jobs”, ones that are allowed to go to work during the pandemic. I wonder if someone will launch EssentialJobs.com?
