UPDATE 1/9/2020 this site has been SOLD!
Jobmote, a remote job board/aggregator which I have been nurturing since 2016 is up for sale. The site is profitable and relies on 3 main revenue sources for income: Adsense, Backfill, Postings.
I was running a different remote site a few years back when I came upon Jobmote.com which was up for auction on Flippa. The previous owner wasn’t monetizing and had given up but I saw an opportunity so I bought the short, memorable domain and shut down my other site to focus on this one.
Eventually I moved it to the SmartJobBoard platform where it is hosted today. I gave it a whole new look, added thousands more jobs and began to monetize.
Today it receives around 7,000 monthly visits comprised entirely of organic traffic from a variety of sources. None of this traffic is paid. Below is the monthly stats report report from this year.
The site has a terrific following (thousands of followers) on social media and that is actually the biggest referrer of traffic for the site. Turns out people love remote job listings! Check the accounts for yourself here;

It’s been on the SJB platform for about a year or so. It has picked up a few paid postings and a featured resume from a seeker but thats about it. I run it as a pure affiliate play with backfill providers like Talroo and Jobg8 and Adsense earnings which have doubled in the past few months. Backfill brings in around $150-$175 per month while Adsense earnings just hit $159 for the past 30 days.
This is all passive income. Other than an occasional blog post I spend zero time maintaining or marketing the site.

Why I’m Selling
Though I like the remote niche I have a new job board I am looking to get off the ground which I feel can be a bigger revenue generator so its time for me to let Jobmote go. The good news for prospective buyers is that the hard work is already done. I have built up a solid foundation for a new owner willing to add more content and a dedicated prospecting effort.
I value the site around $10k so email me and make an offer if you are interested. I’ll be happy to show serious buyers the backend, stats etc should we get that far.
Jobmote represents an excellent side hustle business for the right owner or perhaps something bigger for those willing to invest the time.
In any case I’m sure it will find a new home soon so don’t delay in contacting me.
