Guest blogging. There are a number of recruiting related sites where you can guest post and get back-links for free. New and existing job boards should use guest posting to extend their brand and get back-links. Google loves back-links.
All these sites want interesting content so don’t spam. Be of value to the community. Write tips for recruiters to read. Educate them. Help them get better at recruiting. For example, if you have an engineering job board, write articles such as “5 Tips to Recruit More Engineers“.
- RecruitingBlogs.com – just register and create a profile for yourself.
- JobBoarders.com – just register and create a profile for yourself.
- RecruitingHeadlines.com – guest post submission
- HireDaily.com – guest post & link submissions
- HR.com – just register and create a profile for yourself.
- Linkedin Pulse – use your personal account as your own PR channel.
- Sites like Inc.com, Fortune Mag, HuffPost also all have contributor programs.
BACK-LINK TIP: also look for web business directories. HireDaily, a recruiting news site has one where you can add your link for free. Business.com links cost $299 per year. BOTW links cost $149 per year.
