I wanted to publish some info to give others a sense of what some of these affiliate programs from the major aggregators payout. I captured screenshots from my Indeed and SimplyHired powered sites for July which you can see below. My sites dont have a ton of traffic, you can see the impressions in the report, but you can get a sense for how much you can earn for every 1,000 page views you can generate.
First up is Indeed. From almost 50k page views I earned $163.59. Its nearly impossible to tell how much per click they are paying since they dont show me all the clicks I generate. Of the big 3, only SimplyHired and ZipRecruiter show you how much CPC you are earning. I’m not sure why Indeed doesn’t share this number with its affiliates. If I had to guess its only in the 5 to 10 cent range.
Next up is SimplyHired. I have a couple of niche sites on their SimplyPartner program. They have picked up a few postings too. But I’m only earning around 4 cents a click. The image below indicates a total of 2,290 clicks from July and earning from those clicks was $86.90.
ZipRecruiter. So far after only a few weeks of using them on one of my career blogs they are generating about 6 cents a click.
Bottom line: You have to generate a lot of page views to make any decent money. That’s why you should only think of backfill as part of the overall revenue stream behind postings and adsense. You may see better earnings if you have a site that targets more competitve niches such as nursing, truckers or tech. Most of my sites are fairly general in nature.
why don’t you try jobs2careers.combackfill? We have options for both API or XML. We offer fully transparent reporting and we have some of the highest payouts. Contact Nick Roartybat nroarty@jobs2careers.com.
I think I’ve heard of Jobs2Careers before … Shelly that’s the orange one right 😉
Hi Chris, I was just wondering when does indeed.com actually pay their publishers?. I have gone through their FAQ which states that they pay publisher on the month after every quarter. I have surpassed their $100 threshold in January of this year already, my payment info is up to date but I have not yet received any payment from them. I was expecting that indeed.com would issue a payment in April (month after the first quarter) but nothing as of yet. Was hoping maybe you could shed some light to this matter.
Hi yes they pay quarterly, I just received my April payment last week. You can email Peter Morelli pmorelli@indeed.com
Thank you so much for the info and for the quick response.
Hi, I tried SimpleHired but I went to Indeed. Now I make about $120 dollars a month. I receive a check every month. It’s all about creating content on your website that atrack jobseeksers.
Hi, my indeed earnings crossed 100$ .Can anyone tell when indeed is going to be paid for publisher? Every month or every quarter?
Every quarter. I believe July is up next for payouts.
Thank you Chrisr2 . You are the inspiration for many job board developers and bloggers.
Hi , Can anyone show screen shots of payment proofs.
Or else list few websites success stories who are earning with indeed.
Because due to below report , one person reported about indeed publisher program.

I too am not thrilled with the service provided by Indeed. One day I’m earning $5 to $10 a day and then all of a sudden it drops to pennies a day. Peter seems to be the only affiliate program manager and he typically takes between 2 weeks to a month to reply to my emails. Also, their publisher program info page says you get paid for clicks, but you do NOT get paid for clicks until (according to Peter) you drive a consistent 5000+ daily page views and have been making a consistent revenue stream. Kind of hard to meet those terms when they drop commission payouts down to a 10th of what I was previously making. Looking for another program…
ZipRecruiter or Jobs2Careers are other options that pay slightly better.
Indeed is a total scam.. I was making 7 to 12 dollars a day for 2 months and then suddenly without any apparent reason my clicks started to be 1 to 2 cents.. its totally ridiculous and my clicks are good and legit as now I’m with someone else and no problems.
they are manipulating this somehow in their system, and for some strange way or what it seems a total disorganized staff and business want to push away most of their affiliates to other providers.. give it a try and see it for yourself.. Indeed is a total waste of time, they sucks at responding as they never do it and keep themselves anonymous as if something fishy is going on. Hopefully more and more come to sites like this and publish their scummy practices..
Hi John,
Due to privacy and the fear of Indeed looking in I will not post any screenshots but I can confirm Indeed pays.
I recieved over $ 5,000 this year.
But I can also confirm the locked account practices where Indeed ‘robbed’ me for over $ 5,000.
Indeed is not a scam but it is one of the most affiliate unfriendly programs I know and I am in the affiliate business for 15 years now.
There is always the risk of not getting paid, bad communication and you have almost no (or none at all) insight in what you get paid per click.
And like Rick and James mention I have the strong feeling Indeed manipulates your earnings.
So when you compare the risk (and in some cases the time invested) to the earnings I wouldn’t recommend Indeed.
I have been with indeed affiliate for a while now. I was making about $250/ month but my revenue has been dropping for no reason, I am getting huge amount of page views but my revenue is dropping.
I feel that indeed is manipulating their system even for individual publishers. Their payout used to be on date but now its a month late. And their customer support is pathetic, I have contacted them and have not received a reply.
Agree with Dani, I was earning $20 a month regularly for three years then six months ago it has tailed off down to less than a $ a month, my page views are up 10-20% so something has changed to their system. They ignore emails so I’ll be ripping their stuff off my pages as soon as I find a suitable alternative
