Is your job board on twitter?
You should already be tweeting job search advice and industry news but your jobs should also be in the mix. And you may want a separate twitter account to do it. For the simple reason of showing up on twitter search.
Take Ziprecruiter for example. They have a main twitter account @ziprecruiter which they use to promote their service and retweet others. But they also have @zrjobs which is a job only feed of every job that gets posted to their system.
The @zrjobs account has over 3700 followers too! Thats a lot of followers for just a job feed. Their job tweets are optimized meaning they including the job title, comp name and location and a hashtag #job. If you run an niche site you should also include a hashtag like #marketing #job if thats the niche you serve.

Twitter is only getting bigger and its becoming a good source of job leads for people. In fact I did an interview with someone who found their job on twitter (listen here).
More employers and staffing firms are now pushing their jobs to twitter which means its a great place to search for them. In the coming weeks I’m actually debuting a new service to help job seekers find these jobs as well as helping job boards/employers/recruiters get more traffic and followers.
So get your twitter job feeds ready, I’m going to start sending you free traffic!
