Twitter is a great tool to drive both traffic and brand recognition to any job board. After you get your domain the you should immediately get the twitter handle secured. Then add the twitter share button or chicklet by using tools like addthis.com or sharethis.com. You can get a variety of badges from twitter here:

The founder of Jobboard.io emailed me recently and offered these twitter tips:
But the real power of Twitter is combining it with a service like Twitterfeed. The beauty of Twitterfeed is it allows you to automate a large part of your Twitter account. You can tie it to an RSS feed which will be auto tweeted by your account. We like to setup up two feeds:
1. The main RSS feed of actual purchased jobs on our site
2. A 3rd party RSS feed of jobs in your niche. These will not link through to your site, but will provide a good amount of volume which will help you pick up followers.
And dont forget to add hashtags to your job feeds. If you have a marketing job board for example use #jobs #marketing – hashtags will make the jobs more findable in search.
Its also important to align your profile, logo and bio with your site. Use the same colors, logo and description. Be sure to link to your job board and even link to the job post page inside the twitter profile (it will be a link if you add the .com to it).
So get out there and tweet your jobs!
