A new user contacted me after joining recently and asked me how to get started with a job board. This blog lists so much content now I figure its time to give some context for newbies. So here goes…
1. Download the following PDF short ebooks.

2. Choose your niche carefully. For guidance read this post. And this post. And finally read this post.
3. Want to know what to expect the first year? Read this post.
4. Find and register a good domain name. Make sure it includes good keywords for your niche. For example if i were starting a site for marketing jobs I might choose bestmarketingjobs.com. Also read this.
5. Get a good web designer. Dont have one? use 99designs.com to get one.
6. Pick the right job board software. Browse through my software posts to decide on the right one for you.
