So great, you’ve got some customers postings jobs to your board. Now what?
I’m writing this post to suggest you follow up with those clients and establish a relationship with them.
If you want repeat business its important to get these 1st time customers to trust you enough to come back. That means getting to know them. Put a face on your business and make it personal. After all, people do business with people they know.
So after they have posted a job give them a call and introduce yourself. Thank them for posting and offer some tips about using your site. Or just to see if they have any questions.
For instance, sometimes I tell my clients how to refresh their job dates or upload a logo. And occasionally I’ll even rewrite a job ad for them because I dont think it will attract enough applicants the way its written.
The point is to humanize your job board. Dont just make it a faceless website.
