A new job board for Alabama construction jobs has been created by the Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute.
Go Build Alabama is excited to announce the launch of the Go Build Alabama Job Board, an innovative platform designed to simplify the job search process for career seekers and Alabama-licensed commercial and industrial construction employers across the state. This centralized job board offers a wide range of skilled trade job opportunities, from craft/field positions to administrative and sales roles, with the goal of strengthening Alabama’s workforce and economy.

There are a lot of sites targeting the hourly workforce with Jobcase being the biggest. But there are also lots of startups trying to connect these workers with employers. A site called Gigs was started in 2022 and they’re investors put out a slick video touting the company.
I’m a little annoyed at the video because it never said what their URL was. I tried googling ‘gigs job board’ and it was nowhere to be found in the first few pages. I think they need some SEO work to be found. There are a bunch of sites with the word Gig in it so these guys may have a tough time getting brand awareness.
