PeopleGrove, higher education’s first and only Career Access platform for career development and alumni engagement, announces the launch of Job Connections. Job Connections reimagines the traditional job board to make networking a more accessible and effortless part of landing a new position. The advanced new feature set helps students and alumni learners leverage their university network by linking them with an active community of alumni volunteers at one of the most pivotal moments in the job search process.
Unlike a traditional job post, which simply provides information about the role, Job Connections automatically filters job opportunities by networking connections a seeker may have with alumni who have worked at that company or who have held that title. Not only do users only see job and internship posts where these networking opportunities exist, job seekers can also now more efficiently make connections with these targeted alumni, according to the company.
Tech:NYC, the membership organization representing the local tech industry, has launched a job board to compile all open positions in one place. The board brings together positions from member companies that can be performed in the city—whether they are officially based here or fully remote.
I recently helped a staffing firm launch their own job board on the Smart Job Board platform. TopOneHire is a national site launched by Complete Staffing Solutions.
Staffing firms are becoming a big part of my client base. Job boards make a lot of sense for them as they seek to lessen their reliance on sites like Indeed and put more control over their job advertising spend.
