Here’s a look at a some new niche job boards being launched.
go2work is a newly launched hiring platform dedicated to the construction and skilled trades sectors.
Since our launch in March, we have been committed to transforming the hiring landscape by going beyond traditional resumes. At go2work, we understand that skills and experience in the construction and trades industries are best showcased through tangible work rather than just words on paper. That’s why our platform allows job seekers to upload videos and pictures of their projects, creating a comprehensive project portfolio that highlights their true capabilities.
For employers, go2work offers a seamless experience. Companies can post job listings, shortlist candidates, and communicate directly with potential hires through our integrated chat feature. We have also integrated Zoom into our platform, making it easy to conduct interviews without leaving go2work.
We believe our innovative approach provides a more accurate and dynamic view of candidates’ skills and experience, ultimately leading to better hiring decisions and stronger teams in the construction and skilled trades sectors.
A husband and wife team in the cleaning business were struggling to find workers so they created their own job board. Called Cleaning WorkSource, the nationwide job board has been a big hit in the early going: Nearly 4,300 jobs were posted in less than a week of the website’s launch.
“We were tired of the exorbitant costs and inefficiencies of traditional job boards,” Kristina Pajevic, co-owner of Crystal Clean Green Cleaning, says in a statement. “As a family business, we needed a solution that catered to both employers and job seekers, something affordable, fast and effective.”
Posting a job on Cleaning WorkSource costs $49 for one post, $99 for five posts and $149 for unlimited posts, with a 10% discount on the first post, according to Steven Pajevic, who co-owns the business with his wife.
