A reader emailed me to ask how much maintenance is involved in running a job board.
My Answer
From an operational standpoint there is very little maintenance…. it kind of runs itself.
If you use an off the shelf job board software that platform is essentially a DIY solution for your audience. Job seekers create their own accounts, post their own resume and search for jobs on their own. Employers use the site online as well.
You might get a few questions per week via the contact form but essentially its hands off. The vast majority of your time will be spent on marketing and sales activities.
