Here’s an idea. A site that lists only job wanted postings direct from job seekers.
Craigslist has had a section like this forever but I think a dedicated site could be something that gains traction. Here’s a screenshot of how it looks on CL;
Eventually once the site got big enough it could make money of advertising, backfill (matching jobs to the job seekers posting) and even allowing them to pay to feature their job wanted listing.
A job wanted listing is a legitimate product offering. Ranchwork.com offers exactly that;
At the very least a “job wanted” section might be good for your job board too. I’ve made money off seekers in the past by allowing them to pay to feature their resume in the database for a small fee. Not a big revenue opportunity but it certainly adds to your sites bottom line over time.
One day I’d love to purchase the jobwanted.com domain and make a site like this a reality. If only I had 100k to buy it! lol
