I was reading Indeed’s parent company’s financial results recently and came across some interesting numbers about their web traffic. These numbers are global.
I’m not sure if they include Glassdoor. The info below has been excerpted from their statement.
What is the latest update on Unique Visitor traffic to Indeed?
The number of monthly Unique Visitors on Indeed was over 300 million as of September 2022, an increase from over 250 million as of March 2022, which has been driven by marketing initiatives of Indeed, labor market factors, and changes in the data source.
Indeed has executed a number of plans that we believe have led to increased traffic to, and engagement on, Indeed sites including online and offline job seeker acquisition and branding efforts. Looking at this they claimed to have gained 50 million visitors! That’s quite a jump. Last I heard their U.S. traffic was 63 million per month. Those numbers are unrivaled in the industry.
Glassdoor is #2 with 50 million visits per month. The next biggest job board in the U.S. that compares would be ZipRecruiter which gets about 38 million visitors per month.
