Danish job board Jobindex announced that it has submitted a complaint to the EU Commission and has asked them to investigate Alphabet over the launch of its ‘Google for Jobs’ service in Denmark.
According to Jobindex, the complaint to the Commission is aimed at initiating a case against Alphabet over Google’s ‘anti-competitive abuse’ of its dominant market position over its ‘Google for Jobs’ service in Denmark.
Hard to see this happening in the US market unless Google starts trying to monetize it. -CR
