A new career called Ladder has launched. When I read the news I immediately assumed it was put out by The Ladders, the long running job board. But it wasn’t!
Ladder is a startup from last year with a similar name. Sounds like a trademark issue if you ask me. I wonder if The Ladders is aware and if they will fight this.
Ladder was founded in 2020, during the height of COVID-19, when millions of college students across the country were sent home with no job lined up, no idea what remote work meant, and no sense of community. The company just launched its app and raised $3.7 million.
The Enid Regional Development Alliance will launch a digital job board next month for Enid Oklahoma to be powered by Getro.
The website, www.workinenid.com, will provide both employers and job-seekers a one-stop place to find available career opportunities across all industries in the Enid area.
Posting jobs and linking on the website is free for corporate members of ERDA, Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Enid. Non-members may post jobs for or link to their company web site for a fee. (source link)
