This is a member only post.
Every day across social media (Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter) employers are recruiters are promoting their newest job openings.
As a job board owner I see these posts for what they are….LEADS for your business!
They tell you that employer/recruiter is hiring right now, that they have an immediate need to fill.
As a job board its your job to help them fill these roles. Thats why part of my prospecting efforts target these posts directly.
How you ask?
By commenting on them from your own social accounts. Commenting to alert them that your board exists is a solid strategy for getting sales. Check out this example;
I searched for the phrase “we’re hiring” AND sales in order to add a keyword for a certain job to the mix. Then I filtered my LI query by “POSTS” to see what people were posting. As you can see Monique is an HR person at Napa Auto Parts.
Simply leave a comment on her post. Something like this will suffice;
Hi Monique just a heads up that my job board can help you get some leads for these jobs. Here’s a coupon code for 20% off SAVE20, just use it at checkout to get your discount.
If you use this tactic daily it will lead to clicks and you should be able to convert some of those into sales. Results will vary of course, but if you have sales people on staff have them make this part of their daily activities. Unlike an email comment on social media won’t go into the spam filter.
