Founder Richard Bronson sent out an email recently touting the success of his jobs business for the formerly incarcerated.
“After several years of banging away at getting 70 Million Jobs off the ground, after a seemingly infinite number of investor pitches, after starts and stops and starts again, and after looking out over the precipice of a near-empty bank account, we seem to be having our break-out month.
We’ll finish February with more than $200,000 in revenue—for us, a big number. This revenue has largely been driven by our staffing business, which we introduced a couple of months ago. We recently got a big work order and my amazing team worked late at night and throughout the weekend to find some great people, eager to start immediately.”

NEW ACCOUNTING JOB BOARD
The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association) has launched a new online career portal to help accounting and finance professionals find positions and develop their careers, while also providing employers a highly-skilled pool of potential hires.
The Association’s Global Career Hub, combining the strengths of the AICPA and CIMA, offers a variety of resources and services for applicants and employers throughout the global finance industry. The site is open to all financial professionals, employers and recruiters.
“The accounting profession is changing rapidly as new technologies demand different skills and talents. We know our members and financial professionals globally are continually seeking to enhance their capabilities and career prospects,” said Tim Mahne, Association vice president for marketing and member experience. “The Global Career Hub is part of the Association’s commitment to being a lifelong career partner to our members and financial professionals. The Global Career Hub features tools for professionals at all career stages, from students and entry level accountants looking for their first position to mid- and senior-career CPAs seeking to hone their skills or advance their careers.
New Tech Job Board in EU Gets Funding
Portugal based Landing gets funding for their tech job board. According to their blog;
