MarketerHire, the hiring platform for the world’s top marketing talent, recently launched and announced a $1.075M seed round. The fast-growing company provides startups and agencies with 48-hour matching to top marketers that can work remotely for their company, while serving the fast-growing freelance marketing community with ongoing work.
Boon, listed above, has a platform for temporary healthcare jobs too. Gigs are niching out!
Because more and more people want flexible work it only makes sense any industry could support a niche site for those kind of gig workers.
Today the big guys like Upwork list a shit ton of tech and writing roles but they are still too tech oriented. Which is why I think there is opportunity here. In fact, I am going to be launching my own gig site for the recruiting industry in 2020.
I dig gigs.
So if you are looking for ideas on what kind of job site to start perhaps a gig site is a good idea for your particular niche.
