In the past few weeks I’ve gotten more serious about my job board lead gen activities. I am now actively promoting the job board on CareerCloud as a job distribution service that goes out to 50+ job boards by virtue of signing up with several aggregators like Jobs2careers, TopsUSAjobs and others.
My goal is to get annual yearly subscriptions for $2500 a year. I get a few one off job postings but the real money is annual subs. Those companies who sign up get unlimited postings. So far this year I have signed 5 of them.
It starts with Emailgrabber. I use that software to collect leads from other job boards. Once I collect my list of emails I then put them into a CRM called HubSpot. Once uploaded I begin my emailing efforts. Below is a screenshot.
Once I click into a lead Hubspot pulls any public information about that person. Then I choose the email tab, select one of my templates and press send. The email you see below has a subject line entitled “Recruitment Marketer Wants to Help“.
Yesterday I sent out 45 of these emails to a bunch of staffing firm leads I cultivated with Emailgrabber. The emails had an open rate of 33%. Pretty good. A couple of them even clicked. Now I am going to ramp up this efforts and send at least 200 per day which should lead to sales each month.
