I’m taking advantage of the free version of Jobboard.io software to expand my social media job board into the UK and Canada. Its something I’ve been wanting to do for a while and finally got the time to get them setup. Took about 3 hrs to get them all squared away and live.
I did it by setting up two new subdomains off the main jobsinsocialmedia.com domain.
ca.jobsinsocialmedia.com
uk.jobsinsocialmedia.com
I’m able to choose backfill by country so it was easy to pre-populate each board with just jobs from those countries. I used the same logo as the main site and just added the country flags for easy identification.
Boom, the site is now a global property!
Over time it should start to pull in traffic from those countries.
