Ok so I discovered two new job boards that launched recently but the difference between them is night and day. One is doomed to fail, the other should do just fine.
The difference between them is all about design. One sucks, the other doesn’t.
Each of these sites put out a press release.

Just take a look at these two homepages…
Several areas on PowerPlantWorker are blank which is a huge no-no. Its obvious they spent zero time on a good design while CareersinOilandGas has done a great job creating not just a job board but a community where candidates can also learn about the industry. They have the right images on the site, they promote their social media pages…they doing in right. Which is more than I can say for their counterpart.
Design is the KEY top starting out right. Invest in it and you will be rewarded.
