If you run a job board for any length of time, other companies in the online job search & resume space will contact you pitching their add-on services for you to incorporate their stuff.
I usually resist these pitches when it comes to my sites.
Visibility, Jobg8, Payscale, Resume Rabbit are all examples of services that have contacted me in the past. The reason is that I’m not interested in promoting someone else’s company.
I tried many of these add-ons early in my sites existence but never really saw any positive return. I had to do all the work setting them up but in the end all I was doing was giving them free advertising.
So I say concentrate on your own site first. You don’t need anything extra to distract you from your core mission which is connecting job seekers and employers in whatever niche you serve.
