Your job board homepage should clearly tell employers two things. 1) Where to go to post a job 2) how much it costs (at least the basic rate). They pay the bills so you need to clearly spell out what they should do when they reach your homepage.

Any thoughts on pricing models? Please give me a few options that are popular & what yr opinion is of the most successful?
Hi Linda, the basic model is pay per post. If its a new job board I suggest undercutting your compeition by offering the lowest rate.
$99 is a good starting point. Starting out with low rates will allow you room to increase as time goes by.
Other suggestions…unlimited postings for $999 year, packs of jobs for lower rates, i.e. 5 jobs for $399.
Always round down to the 9’s since it sounds cheaper. $99 is more enticing than $100.
Overall the past few years have seen a downward pressure on prices so dont be too expensive.
