It’s often said they you need both job seekers and employers coming to your job board to make it effective. And that is certainly true. You have two audiences.
But which comes first? What side should you target? The answer is both but I will say that getting one is easier than the other.
Its easier to get job seekers because you can always pay to get that traffic. By using the aggregators you can attract cheap traffic for as little as 10 cents per click on a site like CareerJet.com. Even using and Indeed or SimplyHired will only cost 20-25 cents per click.
So when starting out, concentrate on the employer side. The job seekers are there when youre ready.
