I’ve noticed that some job boards hide their jobs or make it difficult to find them.
Those sites may think they are ‘protecting’ their content, however all you are doing is putting a barrier between the job and the job seeker. A successful job board is one that makes it EASY to search, apply for and post jobs.
Don’t create roadblocks such as making job seekers log in or register before seeing your jobs. Doing so will only lead to user frustration and lessen the amount of views your jobs get. One of your goals as a job board operator is getting as many views possible for each job that gets posted. Employers are paying you to reach job seekers so why would you want to get in the way of that?
You dont want that. (search engines cant find them either, not good for seo)
Always showcase your jobs on your homepage and let seekers see the most recent listings. This will give your site more credibility in the minds of seekers and employers.
